about brandon
Brandon grew up in the Swanton area and was a 1998 graduate of Swanton High School. From a young age he had an entrepreneurial spirit. For example, in elementary school he bought penny gum to sell for a profit. He was motivated to work for bigger things and make things better for himself and those closest to him. After high school, he attended Owens Community College and received an Associate’s Degree in Business. Brandon started his own family business, Team Johnson, at the young age of 18. His business shifted from semi-trucks and dump trucks, to limousines, party buses and charter buses. He was always thinking and dreaming of the next best thing. Throughout it all, he kept his family close and worked alongside his parents and sisters.
Brandon’s networking was non-stop. He was constantly in motion, and his feet were never standing still. Being involved in his community was important to him, and he shared his talents with anyone in need. Most importantly, he shared them with those less fortunate. He especially loved to spread Christmas cheer each December. For the past 8 years, he organized gift-giving for children at the Family House Shelter, and each year he would choose families in need to receive a Christmas miracle. His kindness and selflessness touched many lives.
Sadly, on December 5, 2024, Brandon was in a car accident on his way home from delivering presents to the children at the Family House in Toledo, Ohio. Unfortunately, he tragically passed away at the age of 44. He is survived by his wife, four kids, mom, sisters, many nieces and nephews, along with countless friends and business partners.
Our Mission
The Brandon Johnson Miracle Foundation is primarily run by Brandon’s family. This includes (but is not limited to) his wife, Stefanie; his daughter, Whitney; his sons, Landon, Max, and Peyton; his mother, Becky; his sister, Bobby Jo; and his sister, Brittany. The foundation was started as a way to honor Brandon’s legacy and continue spreading joy.
With this, the majority of funds gained by the foundation will go towards The Christmas Miracle. This event includes shopping, wrapping, and delivering Christmas presents to those in need. Brandon took a lot of pride in this event and enjoyed nothing more than watching the faces of the children and families when receiving their gifts. Please contact us if you would like to know any further information about our events.
